Tier List

Tyr Tank Tier List

A snapshot for September 2026 Early Access — not a forever bible.

Early Access Tank Tier List Hub

This is a role-aware Early Access snapshot, not a damage spreadsheet. Tyr’s 8v8 with one life and asymmetric vision means a Fuse that lives is often “higher tier” than a Maul that farms damage and dies sixth. Ranks below assume a mixed map pool (Ravine, Scorch, Divide, Wind Valley, Fields) and a team that is not six heavies. Patch days will move these. Check updates before you screenshot this page into Discord two months later.

How we rank

  • S — changes how the enemy drafts. You feel the missing hull if nobody brought it.
  • A — strong in the right lane, not automatic.
  • B — honest, teachable, or waiting on a node/Keystone.
  • C — playable, but you are fighting the kit.

Alpha Program tanks (Seeker) are marked experimental. Unfinished models, unfinished numbers.

Lights — full write-up on the light list

  • S: Fuse — 45% camo is a different game.
  • A: Ikarus, Seeker (Alpha) — four-clip burst; Snitch vision for the whole team.
  • B: Kestrel, Phantom — real scouts, less unique than Fuse/Snitch.
  • C: Alecto — 32% camo and a good turret, still a light that wants to duel.

Mediums — full write-up on the medium list

  • S: Tempest — turret, five-clip, Recall. The chassis the community already wrote a full guide for.
  • A: Ark, Ranger — portable bush; ramps that steal height.
  • B: Deadeye, Rook, Valor — two-clip assassin and the two generalists.
  • C: Arbalest — 9% camo sniper. Punished on open maps without a light.

Heavies — notes on the heavy roster

  • S: Atlas — 0% camo but Sonar makes the class see.
  • A: Fortis — bounce Energy wall.
  • B: Maul — ram threat, needs a lane that is not all greens.
  • C: Helio, Tricera — honest heavies until a patch loves them.

What this list is not

It is not a reason to flame a Tricera one-trick who holds a cap. Overtime cares about tanks alive and HP, not your S-tier screenshot. It is not a substitute for armor or spotting. A gray clip from Tempest is still a throw.

How to use this with SLVR

Unlock along the default track until you can drive the class you actually like in Sandbox. Then spend SLVR on shells and components for one S or A hull, not on collecting C-tier names. Builds and the build planner are the spend pages. Gold from the Founder’s Pack is cosmetic styles, not rank.

Patch disclaimer

Stoke has already shipped Seeker, Vehicle Mastery, and several skin lines during playtests. Early Access is planned for about a year of more tanks and maps. When a hull’s camo, clip, or ability cost moves, the class pages stay true longer than this rank table. Read lights, mediums, and heavies as the stable documents.

If you are brand new, ignore S-tier and finish how to play. The best hull is the one whose Alt armor layout you have actually looked at.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for new Tyr pilots and returning playtesters.

Is this Tyr tier list official?

No. It is a fan snapshot for Early Access. Stoke's patches will move it.

Why is Fuse S-tier with low armor?

45% camo plus shared 400 m spotting lets Fuse light heavies that cannot light back. Vision wins 8v8.

Should I unlock S-tier first with SLVR?

Sandbox the class first. SLVR is often better on ammo for a hull you already have. See builds.
