Tyr Heavy Tank Tier List
Five loud hulls ranked by bounce Energy, vision cheat, and whether they are still alive at minute ten.
Heavies are ranked by whether the team still has a gray wall when overtime checks HP. Camo is 0–7%. You will be lit. The job is bounce, cap, and (for Atlas) Sonar. This expands the tier list hub. Kits live on the heavy roster. Fortis graduated from Alpha in the June 2026 patch and is Ranked-legal at level 20. Patch notes.
S — Atlas
Zero percent camo and the only heavy that cheats vision. Sonar pings past 400 m. Turret can keep up with hull rotation. If your pug has no Fuse, Atlas is the emergency scout. Energy 33 may or may not cover the first ping — zone first. Energy. Skins like Kingmaker do not add camo.
A — Fortis
The bounce wall, now a main-roster hull, not clay Alpha. Higher unlock cost than the first tanks. Ranked and cups at 20. Nodes that magnify taken/bounced Energy are the reason Fortis abilities come back in long Scorch lanes. Tell allies to stop shooting the gray face. Armor.
B — Maul
Ram and mass. Punishes lights that greed. Dies to a Recall Tempest or a stacked hill of greens. Reentry is a skin. Pick Maul when the map is a corridor, not Divide sand.
C — Helio, Tricera
Honest HP. Helio leans support-adjacent in community talk; play it as a heavy until the tooltip says otherwise. Tricera is wide — a gift to enemy greens if you do not angle. Both can win overtime by simply remaining. Do not flame a living Tricera on a 40% cap.
Map modifiers
- Scorch: Fortis and Atlas up.
- Ravine: do not dive the ditch.
- Divide / Dunes customs: down unless a light is already spotting. Maps.
Spend order
SLVR: Fortis or Atlas ammo, bounce-Energy nodes, not a third Maul. Gold: styles only. Builds. Compare with light ranks and medium ranks before you skip-unlock a sniper you will skyline.
New players still start at how to play. A Sonar button does not teach capture math. Ping the wall you want held. Ping wheel.
Fortis at A is the graduation story: higher unlock cost, Ranked at 20, bounce nodes that turn gray shells into Energy. If your clan is rushing Fortis with SLVR before silenced Fuse ammo, you have the spend order backwards. Atlas remains S because 8v8 without a light is a fog simulator and Sonar is the only heavy cheat. Maul stays B until the map is a corridor you can ram. Helio and Tricera stay C as honest overtime ballast — a living C-tier heavy beats a dead S-tier Atlas in the third tiebreaker. That is the whole list. Re-read after the next patch notes drop, not after one bad Scorch game.
Clan Territory Scans do not make Helio S-tier. A 20-person clan that only queues Maul is still a fog farm if nobody pings. Pair this list with the Tempest playbook so your gray wall is not eating Recall flanks from a medium you refused to track. Sandbox the Alt armor on Fortis for ten minutes before you skip-unlock it. That ten minutes is cheaper than a weekend of bouncing your own team’s shells on Ravine.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for new Tyr pilots and returning playtesters.
Is Fortis still Alpha?
No. It graduated in June 2026. Ranked at level 20. See heavies.
Why is Atlas S-tier at 0% camo?
Sonar is the class's eyes. Without a light, Atlas is the only heavy that sees first.
Should I main Tricera?
If you will angle and cap, yes. If you will peek like Fuse, no. C is a warning, not a ban.
Where is the full heavy kit list?
On the heavy tank roster.
