Tyr Light Tank Tier List
Ranking the six scouts by camo, information, and whether they survive the first shot.
Lights are ranked by information created per life, not by damage. A dead Ikarus with a four-kill clip is still a dead scout. This page expands the tier list hub. Kit details stay on the light roster. Camo numbers come from the public spotting table: Fuse 45, Ikarus 42, Kestrel 39, Phantom 37, Seeker 34, Alecto 32.
S — Fuse
Fuse is the stealth floor. Forty-five percent camo plus a turret that can keep up with the hull means Fuse can track a target while remaining the tank that heavies never light first. Put Fuse in a bush on Divide or Fields, stay silenced, and you create spotting assists that also pay Energy. There is no other hull that so cleanly breaks the 400 m symmetry. If your squad can only skip-unlock one light with SLVR, this is the one — after you have driven it in Sandbox.
A — Ikarus, Seeker (Alpha)
Ikarus brings a four-shell clip at 42% camo. That is enough burst to punish a tracked heavy, and enough bloom to get Ikarus killed if you dump from the same bush twice. Play Ikarus as a relocating assassin, not as Fuse with extra bullets.
Seeker is A-tier conditional. Snitch pings the nearest unspotted hull for the whole team, which is an S-tier ability on a kit Stoke labeled unfinished. Alpha Program means gun, camo, and cost will move. Rank Seeker as “take this when nobody else brought vision,” not as a forever god. The July patch notes were explicit that the model is rough on purpose.
B — Kestrel, Phantom
Kestrel’s three-shell clip at 39% camo is Ikarus-lite. Perfectly fine. Less unique. Phantom at 37% is the relocation specialist without a headline clip or drone. Both work on Ravine if you refuse to sit in the ditch under a heavy. Neither rewrites a draft the way Fuse does.
C — Alecto
Thirty-two percent camo is still better than every medium except Ark’s 26% and friends, but Alecto tempts people into turret duels because the traverse can keep up. That temptation is why it sits in C for a ranked snapshot: the players who pick Alecto to “fight” are the ones who feed. If you pick Alecto to scout anyway, it plays like a B. The rank is a warning label.
Map modifiers
- Divide: Fuse and Ark (a medium) go up. Open sand plus camo is the exam.
- Scorch: long lanes. Silenced Fuse still S. Alecto falls further.
- Ravine: ditch is a C-tier idea for any light if a heavy has the hill.

Build notes for the rank
Silenced shells keep S-tier Fuse actually S. Energy shells are halved on Ikarus and Kestrel. Spotting-Energy nodes beat heroic ram parts. Builds. Compare with medium rankings before you spend SLVR to “upgrade” into Arbalest — that is a stealth downgrade.
If you cannot make Fuse work, the problem is probably spotting habits (firing unsilenced, sitting inside 35 m proxy) rather than the hull. Fix the habit, then come back to this list. For complete beginners, how to play still outranks any S-tier argument.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for new Tyr pilots and returning playtesters.
Is Fuse really S-tier in Tyr?
For vision, yes. 45% camo is a different spotting game. Damage dealers can still ignore Fuse and lose the match.
Why is Seeker only A if Snitch is so strong?
Alpha Program. The kit is unfinished and will be patched. Strong today, unstable tomorrow.
Should I skip Alecto?
Skip it as a brawler. As a scout with discipline it is fine. The C rank is about how people actually drive it.
Where is the full light kit list?
On the light tank roster.
