Tyr Tools Hub

Requirements, loadout planning, and the checklists that keep SLVR in your pocket.

Player Tools and Utilities Hub

This hub is the practical side of the wiki: can your PC run Tyr, how do you plan a loadout, and what should you click before a match. It is not a cheat overlay and it is not an official Stoke tool. For mechanics, use guides. For chassis, use tanks. For ranks, use the tier list.

Start here if the game stutters

Tyr is DirectX 12, 64-bit Windows 10/11, with a minimum line around GTX 1070 / RX 580, 8 GB RAM, and 4 GB disk. Recommended is GTX 2060 / RX 5600 XT and 16 GB RAM. CPU examples on the Steam page are i7-8700K and Ryzen 5 5600X. Full table: system requirements. Broadband is required; this is online 8v8 only.

If you are under min spec, lower shadows before you blame spotting for deaths you could not see because the frame time spiked on a ridge.

Start here if you are about to spend SLVR

Open the build planner plus builds. The planner page is the checklist (shells, components, Keystone, what Gold cannot buy). The builds page is the theory. Together they stop you from skip-unlocking five hulls you will not drive.

Community sites such as Tyr HQ host interactive tank compare and armor viewers. Use them as overlays on top of this wiki’s numbers (400 m spot, camo percents, Energy 33/100). This wiki keeps the written rules so they still work when a third-party tool is down.

Sandbox as a tool

Sandbox is the best tool Stoke ships. Drive locked tanks, test guns on stationary targets, hold Alt, practice Q/E hover strafe, and confirm whether 33 Energy covers your first cast. It is available even when Standard and Ranked are not. Treat it as a firing range, not a toy. Controls and armor are the lesson plans.

Replays as a tool

Settings → Game → enable Replays. Files: AppData\Local\Tyr\Saved\Demos. Ten matches retained. Copy out anything you want to keep. Watch from the Battles tab. Look for gray clips, unsilenced bush shots, and Energy bars that never left 33. Community covers sharing those files in Discord.

Compare workflow we recommend

  1. Pick a class on lights, mediums, or heavies.
  2. Note camo, clip, and ability in one sentence.
  3. Check the tier snapshot so you know if you are fighting the kit.
  4. Run the hull in Sandbox for fifteen minutes.
  5. Buy shells, not a second hull.

That is the entire “tool” stack. Anything that promises aim assistance or extra vision is outside this site and against the spirit of a game that already paints green and gray for you.

Hardware, then habits

A 2060 that runs 80 FPS with a player who understands maps will beat a 4080 that crests Atlas into Fuse. Buy FPS only after you have finished how to play. If you still want a second monitor overlay, put this wiki’s spotting camo table on it — Fuse 45% down to Atlas 0% — and keep SLVR in the bank until a patch on updates actually changes a node.
