Tyr Seeker
Fastest tank in Tyr at 110 km/h — a speed-focused light with a burst that restores treads and a drone that calls out enemies.
Seeker is the fastest tank in Tyr at 110 km/h. At 34% camo it is not a scout in the Fuse sense — it cannot sit invisible in a bush and wait. What Seeker can do is arrive first, reposition faster than any other hull, and use the speed burst to restore treads on ability use. It is an Alpha Program hull, which means the camo rating, ability behavior, and cost are all subject to change before full release. This page is the guide to the hull as it exists now. The speed stat
110 km/h makes Seeker the fastest tank in the game, full stop. Nothing else in the roster approaches it. This is not a minor speed advantage — it is a category difference. Seeker can rotate across the map in a respawn timer that would leave other lights mid-lane. It can check multiple caps in a single push. It can arrive at a fight from an angle the enemy did not anticipate because they did not think anything could get there that fast.
Use the speed. Do not play Seeker like a static scout. Play it like a rotator that is always one step ahead of the enemy’s expectations.
The speed burst ability
The ability is called Mobility Surge, and its key feature is that it restores treads on ability use. In Tyr, losing a tread is a vulnerability — you are slower, and a second tread shot can end you. Seeker’s ability gives that tread back, which means Seeker can take a tread shot, pop the ability, and continue at full speed. The enemy who shot the tread just wasted their shot on a hull that healed itself.
This is the core value of Seeker’s kit. Not the raw speed — the ability to maintain speed through adversity.
The second tread shot
Seeker can restore one tread on ability use. A second tread shot still ends it. Mobility Surge is a get-out-of-one-mistake card, not an immunity card. If you take two tread shots before using the ability, the second one is still lethal. Play accordingly.
Snitch drone (Alpha)
Seeker’s original ability was Snitch, a drone that flies to the nearest unspotted enemy and pings a marker your whole team can see. The Snitch may return in a future patch — the current ability is Mobility Surge. Check patch notes for the latest on Seeker.
How to play Seeker
Seeker is a rotator and a finisher. Use the speed to arrive at fights faster than the enemy expects, use the speed burst to stay at full mobility after taking damage, and fire the gun only when you have a clean shot on a distracted target. At 34% camo you are visible — do not pretend you are Fuse. You survive by being fast and by being where the enemy is not looking.
Common mistakes
Playing Seeker like a bush scout instead of a rotator. Taking two tread shots and expecting the ability to save you from both. Not using the speed to reposition after firing. Staying in one lane instead of rotating across the map.
Alpha Program note
Seeker is Alpha Program. The current Mobility Surge ability replaced the original Snitch drone. Expect changes to camo, ability behavior, and cost before full release. Do not write a tier list around today’s Seeker. Write it around the role: fastest rotator, best at maintaining speed through damage, finisher on distracted targets.
Builds and SLVR priority
Buy the speed burst duration and cooldown upgrades first — the ability to restore treads is the hull’s core value. Speed components that push the base speed higher are also worth prioritizing. Silenced shells are the base round but recognize that 34% camo is not Fuselevel invisibility. See builds for the full loadout. Compare with Fuse if you want invisible first-strike power, or with Phantom if you want invisibility instead of speed.
Maps: Seeker is best on large maps with multiple lanes like Divide and Fields where the rotation speed matters most. Ravine works if you use the speed to control the ditch. Scorch is workable if you use the speed to rotate between ridges faster than the enemy can track. Maps.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for new Tyr pilots and returning playtesters.
How fast is Seeker?
110 km/h — the fastest tank in Tyr by a significant margin. Nothing else in the roster approaches it.
What does Seeker's ability do?
Mobility Surge restores treads on ability use. One tread shot can be healed. A second tread shot is still lethal.
Is Seeker a good scout?
At 34% camo, no. It is a rotator — it uses speed to arrive first, reposition faster, and maintain speed through damage. It cannot sit invisible like Fuse.
What was Snitch?
The original ability was a drone that flew to the nearest unspotted enemy and pinged a marker for the team. It has been replaced by Mobility Surge in the current Alpha build.
Is Seeker an Alpha Program tank?
Yes. Camo, ability, and cost are subject to change before full release. Build around the role — fastest rotator — not today's exact numbers.
